Spinderella cut it up one time.
Last week, our friends Lisa and Mike were in Vegas.
(This is not a post about how they're great because they took us to Vegas with them, because they didn't.)
They got back eeeearly Friday morning to receive an e-mail from me saying that we were invading their house that night to watch the MU-Ohio/Oregon game on TV.
(Because we don't have our own cable plugged in because I have a Food Network addiction problem.)
So we told them the game was at 8.
(But Lisa found out the game was at 5)
So we came over at 5.
(But we forgot to check if the game was going to be on CBS.)
The game wasn't televised. So Lisa and Mike called the local sports bars to find out if anyone was showing the game. Then they drove with us to the sports bar and had beer and nachos with us.
(Even though there was a blizzard outside and Lisa was in the middle of making meatball sandwiches.)
We got back to their house safely and they fed us more, played DDR, SceneIt, and Cranium with us, and Lisa did karaoke with me.
(Even though they were running on like 3 hours of sleep, karaoke required a lot of setting up, and I sing like an injured sea otter.)
They're great.
