Actually, 6 years ago tomorrow I started dating my husband. 6 years ago today, I spent the day with my best friend. We made chicken soup for lunch in our dorm basement kitchen, shared fajitas at Chili's for dinner, saw The Count of Monte Cristo at the Beverly Cinema, tried to go bowling but it was closed, sat together on a teeny couch at the Green Street Cafe and drank hot chocolate, and took a long walk together back to our dorms. Just best friends that night.

But the next morning, I started dating that same best friend, the man that I'd marry 3 years later, and 3 years ago.
