Last night, in my hometown of Arlington Heights, Illinois, there was a windchill advisory for temperatures reaching -40F.

Today in Seattle, Washington, we too have a weather warning... an "Air Stagnation Advisory." I think the Seattle weather folks got bored of saying "it's going to be wonderfully temperate with a chance of misty rain," and were jealous that all the other forecasters in the country get to give flood warnings and windchill warnings and probably avalanche warnings. So thus the "air stagnation" aka "our weather is wonderful but boring" advisory was created.

But that's just my opinion.
