Sweet November

As I'm sure my father-in-law will point out to me this weekend, it's been about a month since my last post... So here's a St.Clair Month-in-Review: November 2006 Edition.
Movie Report
-My Name is Earl, Season 1: Easily the 2nd funniest show of all time, after "The Office". A+++
-Cars: Pretty funny, we love Pixar. A
-Grey's Anatomy, Season 2: Meredith depresses me like no other character on television, but the stories are pretty good. B+
Cycling Report
After a few months off from injuries from a crash at the Tour de 'Toona, Luke started up training for the 2007 Collegiate racing season... Check out http://www.eccc-info.com/race_calendar.aspx to see where we'll be at each weekend. In other news, Luke bought me a yellow Schwinn cruiser to commute to work on in the spring. It's pretty awesome.
YoungLife Report
Two weeks ago, we took a busload of State College High School kids to a YL camp in Glen Spey, NY for our annual Fall Weekend... As usual, we had fun, laughed a lot, got a chance to relax, and didn't sleep much.
Other Amazing Stuff Report
-Last weekend, we had the 2nd Annual State College YoungLife Practice Thanksgiving - 2k6... We ate 2 16lb Turkeys, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, potatoes, pies, and more, and played some killer games of CatchPhrase... In one "special" round, someone (who is me) confused the word "gentile" (Jen-tile... someone who isn't a Jew) for the word "gen-tEEl" which I thought to be some word related to "gentle". Amazingly enough, nobody guessed the right word.
-This weekend, we're headed to Cincinnati for Thanksgiving with Luke's parents, then to Chi-town to watch the MU-Ohio vs Illinois basketball game featuring Luke's brother, Monty... Then back to Cincinnati, and back to Happy Valley. I'm pretty excited.
